Art Classes

Art Classes have long been a popular feature of East Suffolk DFAS. They take place on a Wednesday at Snape Village Hall, during Autumn and Winter terms and move to outside locations during the Spring and Summer.

Classes are very informal with a programme of weekly topics, designed to cater for both the novice and the more experienced artist. Guidance is given in the use of materials, drawing and water colour techniques and the use of pastels. On occasion, members participate in group projects to help expand their knowledge of the great Masters.

In the summer months, the class meets in a wide variety of private gardens and local places of interest. This enables the class to both develop their skills in architectural drawing & landscapes painting and enjoy the benefits of living in this part of Suffolk.

Jenny and Vaughan Windle tutor the classes; both are experienced teachers and Jenny has exhibited widely. Perry Hunt is the Group Co-ordinator and may be contacted by email: perryhunt@keme.co.uk  or 01728 603463.
